They can be used on styrofoam, wood and model plastics, covering well and flowing smoothly with no blushing or fading. Acrylic paints are water based and harmless, but paint doesn't taste nice and shouldn't be drunk. Clean up can be done with a damp cloth. For best effect when thinning, particularly for spraying, Tamiya Acrylic Thinners are recommended, although thinning with water is possible please note that tap water contains additional treatment chemicals which may react with the paint.
