A superb diecast model of the US Navy F-14A fleet defence fighter. This model carrys the traditional squadron colours added to the standard US Navy low visibility grey scheme. This was allowed for one aircraft, in this case NF200, normally flown by VF-21, the Freelancers' commanding officer while operating from USS Independance in 1995. The model is equiped with posable swing wings and tailerons, plus a comprehensive selection of optional parts and weapons is supplied, including deployed landing gear, weapons mounting pylons, Pheonix, Sparrow and Sidewinder missiles. The cockpit interior is fully detailed with an opening canopy allowing the pilot and intercept officer figures to be seated inside if desired. A display stand is supplied with the model.
