Producing a finished model with an overall length of 570mm and a height of 510mm, this good quality kit is the first from an association between Euromodels of England and Amaiti of Italy. Everything required to finish the model is in the box, including a polished hardwood baseboard and turned brass columns for display.

Double planking hull, aided by the fact that most parts are laser cut for accuracy. Limewood and walnut is provided for the planking and tanyanika for the deck.

A very pretty little ship.

A superb model kit of the widely used pre-fabricated WWII Liberty ship, modelled on the preserved SS Jeremiah O'Brien, based in San Francisco, but also attending major WWII rememberance events. The model has three pre-coloured hull sections, with alternative full hull or waterline baseplate enabling either type of model to be constructed with ease. There are 268 parts in total, which can be used to build the ship in its wartime configuration, or in peace time service as a general cargo ship. Glue and paint required to complete.

Highly accurate model depicts the battle cruiser as she appeared when she left Singapore in December 1941. Gun turrets feature polycaps, enabling free rotation even after assembly. Parts for the amphibious Supermarine Walrus reconnaissance plane also included. Pose together with ITEM 31615 Prince of Wales and several ITEM 31909 E Class Destroyers to recreate the ill-fated Force Z. Finish this model with ITEM 85081 TS-81 British Navy Gray spray paint.

Artesania kits are of a good standard and this model, new in 2003, is no exception. Although 4 masted, the rigging is really straightforward with mainly fore and aft sails. A painted ABS hull simplifies building and helps in the production of a compact and handsome model with a finished length of 457mm, height 272mm and beam of 50mm (18" x 10 3/4" x 2". We could also supply a nice display case!

The authentic Mississippi paddlewheel steamboat reminds us of Mark Twain’s most famous characters, Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Fin.
