These high powered radio controlled racers are all supplied ready to race, straight out of the box. Because they use tried and tested technology usually afforded to the racer market, they are incredibly fast, many reaching speeds in excess of 40mph. As these cars all offer such high levels of performance there is still a certain degree of maintainence required to keep them running and in tip-top condition. Drive time will usually be between 5-10 minutes, and so an extra Battery is often a good idea. Please consult the user manuals carefully, and ask advice if unsure. The greatest advantage with one of these ready built racers is that spares can be supplied through any of our stores, keeping you racing for longer.

Step Up 1/10 Stinger 2WD Electric RTR Truggy (CSU0002-2)

Considering trying your hand at RC off road? Then it could well be time to 'step up' to the mark with the exciting new range of models called Stinger from STEP UP. Step Up have developed a range specifically aimed at the entry level and cost conscious enthusiast. First up is the Stinger EB-1 1/10th Truggy. A modular chassis design as used on top level 1/10th racing buggies is used so that the rear and front suspension can be simply removed from the chassis in a matter of seconds. In addition this design provides a stiff 'box' section for the whole car's suspension to work from.

Model requires 7-2 Volt battery & Charger�to complete. An optional fast charger is also available to allow you to recharge quickly between runs.

The gearbox utilises a 3-gear design comprising of a bevel gear differential, idler gear and top shaft. To complete the section an adjustable external slipper clutch helps protect the transmission from shock damage.

Composite , oil filled shocks are standard as is quality r/ c radio system and electronic speed controller. Finished off with a funky pre-printed bodyshell of your choice.

The Stinger EST-1 Truggy shares a common design platform with the Stinger EB-1 Buggy so spare parts are kept to a minimum. Areas such as wishbones, hub carriers and steering blocks have been designed in a manor that allows left and right to interchange, so it is irrelevant which side might need replacing you will never get left with the wrong side from a spare pair of arms.
