The Sabre electric helicopter ha been incredibly succssful, and is a favourite of with many modellers who have down sized from larger IC powered helicopters. With its single rotor it is very responsive but therefore also more demanding to fly. Newcomers to helicopter flying might be better to go to one of the contra rotating rotor blade models such as the Blade, which are more stable and easier to handle. Having, said that, at the price the Sabre is a great buy and once mastered will give loads of flying fun.

Built and ready to fly straight from the box and its a good size, being 469mm (18.5") long. The rechargeable battery pack is included, as is the charger. All you need to get going is 8 AA batteries.

The Sabre is equipped with a single main rotor and powered tail rotor, just like a real helicopter. On-board stabilisation makes the Sabre easier to control in flight.
