| > IC Buggies | Pull and electric starters have revolutionised petrol and nitro powered model cars, trucks and buggies. With starting much easier, nitro is the preferred power for high performance models, the better torque and brilliant acceleration is a real `blast'. More maintenance is necessary than with electric powered models and so nitro is only suitable for ages mid/late teens and up. Read the Antics help sheet before starting.
Most nitro engines employ a glow plug, which must be heated with a battery powered `glow start', to make starting easy. Many of our deals include the starting pack but check the description to be sure.
Drive Safely! We recommend the fitting of a failsafe device, product 5299008, to prevent these high powered cars running away if radio signal is lost, or receiver batteries run low. A small price to pay for peace of mind.

| Academy 1/10 Velox XB Off Road Buggy .15 Engine W/O Radio (1598)
Wow! What a little beauty this is. If you've already got a radio this is a good way of getting some fun from it. Powered by a powerful .15 size engine, with simple pull start to get things going, it's rugged build will cope with almost anything you can throw at it.
It has a 3mm aluminium chassis, is fully ball raced to reduce wear, and four wheel shaft drive ensures maximum traction with a double wishbone suspension to soak up the bumps.
Its pre-assembled and all that is necessary is to fit some radio gear, paint the shell and sort yourself a glow heater starting kit.
Wheelbase is 273mm and its 410mm long a lovely little package to have some fun with. Sidewinder 16% should be the best fuel.
