| > IC Road & Rally | Pull and electric starters have revolutionised petrol and nitro powered model cars, trucks and buggies. With starting much easier, nitro is the preferred power for high performance models, the better torque and brilliant acceleration is a real `blast'. More maintenance is necessary than with electric powered models and so nitro is only suitable for ages mid/late teens and up. Read the Antics help sheet before starting.
Most nitro engines employ a glow plug, which must be heated with a battery powered `glow start', to make starting easy. Many of our deals include the starting pack but check the description to be sure.
Drive Safely! We recommend the fitting of a failsafe device, product 5299008, to prevent these high powered cars running away if radio signal is lost, or receiver batteries run low. A small price to pay for peace of mind.
Good performance, good quality, good service and good spares backup! If you drive your racer to the limit it will need maintenance and all these things will be important. Buy the best from Antics!

| Kyosho 1/10 Vauxhall Astra "TOCA" Alpha 3 GP Readyset (31301RS) Kyosho are world renowned for their radio control cars and they have an ideal entry level vehicle for the beginner to I/C cars, the Alpha GP3 series. These cars have an anodised Duraluminium blue chassis countersunk for screw protection, independent double wishbone suspension improves cornering ability and oil filled shock absorbers take care of bump suppression. The engine fitted is the Kyosho ballraced GX15 with recoil starter and this supplies plenty of power through its special tuned silencer and manifold. A low centre of gravity makes the Alpha easy to drive again making it excellent for a beginner. The car is supplied ready assembled with radio fitted and a rigid radio box offers protection to the R/C equipment. The bodyshell is painted, decaled and fitted so there is little to do in preparation except read through the instructions to get to know the car prior to having some fun. It must be noted that I/C cars are technically demanding and require regular maintenance, including for example checking of screw tightness in between tanks of fuel to avoid loose components during running preventing possible damage ,they are therefore recommended for over 14's. Technical data. length 370mm,width 195mm,height 110mm wheelbase 260mm. Our very complete deal includes 1 litre of Model Technics Qwikfire 10 glow fuel, plus 12 Alkaline AA batteries - four required in the vehicle, eight in the transmitter.
