Pull and electric starters have revolutionised petrol and nitro powered model cars, trucks and buggies. With starting much easier, nitro is the preferred power for high performance models, the better torque and brilliant acceleration is a real `blast'. More maintenance is necessary than with electric powered models and so nitro is only suitable for ages mid/late teens and up. Read the Antics help sheet before starting.

Most nitro engines employ a glow plug, which must be heated with a battery powered `glow start', to make starting easy. Many of our deals include the starting pack but check the description to be sure.

Drive Safely! We recommend the fitting of a failsafe device, product 5299008, to prevent these high powered cars running away if radio signal is lost, or receiver batteries run low. A small price to pay for peace of mind.

FG 1/5 Eco-line Honda Accord (01002/H)
This long wheel base chassis is constructed from 4mm alloy with double wishbones at the front and rear dampened by 4 basic shock absorbers for good road holding. This chassis only suits McLaren GTR, Ferrari 360GT, Mercedes EVO 2, Mercedes CLK-DTM, Honda Accord, Opel V8 Coupe DTM, BMW GTR and BMW M3 GTR bodyshells. Kingpin angle, trailing effect and toe-in can be adjusted through threaded rods. All rotating parts such as shafts, axles, clutch etc are supported by quality ball bearings. The rear axle is equipped with a bevel differential gear, all gears and driving elements are hardened for longer life expectancy. This chassis has a Zenoah 22cc two stroke engine with pullstart system. With its impressive sized fuel tank you can expect between 30-45 mins running time per tank full of oil/petrol (two stroke).
To complete the model a bodyshell, radio control equipment and about 5 hours finishing time are required. All bodyshells are clear plastic ready for painting and decal application. An ideal beginers introduction to 1/5 scale racing. This car can be upgrade with various hop-ups to a sports-line car at a later date if required.
