| > IC Road & Rally | Pull and electric starters have revolutionised petrol and nitro powered model cars, trucks and buggies. With starting much easier, nitro is the preferred power for high performance models, the better torque and brilliant acceleration is a real `blast'. More maintenance is necessary than with electric powered models and so nitro is only suitable for ages mid/late teens and up. Read the Antics help sheet before starting.
Most nitro engines employ a glow plug, which must be heated with a battery powered `glow start', to make starting easy. Many of our deals include the starting pack but check the description to be sure.
Drive Safely! We recommend the fitting of a failsafe device, product 5299008, to prevent these high powered cars running away if radio signal is lost, or receiver batteries run low. A small price to pay for peace of mind.
Good performance, good quality, good service and good spares backup! If you drive your racer to the limit it will need maintenance and all these things will be important. Buy the best from Antics!

| Tamiya 1/10 XBG-R Citroen Xsara WRC IC Ready to Run IC Car (43516)
Introducing Tamiya's second release on the new TGS-R XBG chassis, the WRC Citroën Xsara. With the Xsara dominating this years WRC following taking out the manufacturers championship last year, the red, white and blue Xsara is proving to be one of WRC’s most recognizable and most popular cars.
Fully assembled glow-engine R/C car with body pre-painted and markings pre-applied. Powerful FS-12SW engine that is easy to use and maintain. Features recoil starter and Speed-Tuned Gear. Full bearings and oil dampers for improved running performance and handling. Includes transmitter and receiver. Polycarbonate body represents Loeb’s No. 3 car for the 2004 Monte Carlo Rally.
About the Citroën XsaraThe Xsara made its full season WRC debut in 2003, helping Citroën take out the Manufacturers Championship with driver Sebastian Loeb coming 2nd and Carlos Sainz 3rd. With these excellent results behind them, high expectations were a plenty for the Citroën team in 2004, and they haven’t disappointed. The Xsara has dominated the 2003 season with Loeb winning in spectacular style in the snow in Monte Carlo and Sweden, and on gravel in Cyprus and Turkey. Half-way through the season and Citroën and Loeb have a healthy lead over last year’s Champion Petter Solberg (Subaru), making for an exciting second half to the season. | |
