Pull and electric starters have revolutionised petrol and nitro powered model cars, trucks and buggies. With starting much easier, nitro is the preferred power for high performance models, the better torque and brilliant acceleration is a real `blast'. More maintenance is necessary than with electric powered models and so nitro is only suitable for ages mid/late teens and up. Read the Antics help sheet before starting.

Most nitro engines employ a glow plug, which must be heated with a battery powered `glow start', to make starting easy. Many of our deals include the starting pack but check the description to be sure.

New to the hobby? We carry an excellent Start & Tune DVD, which will teach you all you need to know about running your nitro powered model car. Instructions are great, but there's nothing like seeing a demonstration.

Drive Safely! We recommend the fitting of a failsafe device to prevent these high powered cars running away if radio signal is lost, or receiver batteries run low. A small price to pay for peace of mind.

TNS features a double deck frame for extra durability, with a reinforced aluminum lower and durable plastic upper deck. Powered by a 2.1cc FS-12SW engine, developed in collaboration with O.S. engines, and featuring massive disk brake and full ball bearings, the TNS gives you more speed, more reliable running performance and improved control. 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension with long span arms provide superior road holding, with aluminum capped oil dampers providing excellent shock absorption.
