Pull and electric starters have revolutionised petrol and nitro powered model cars, trucks and buggies. With starting much easier, nitro is the preferred power for high performance models, the better torque and brilliant acceleration is a real `blast'. More maintenance is necessary than with electric powered models and so nitro is only suitable for ages mid/late teens and up. Read the Antics help sheet before starting.

Most nitro engines employ a glow plug, which must be heated with a battery powered `glow start', to make starting easy. Many of our deals include the starting pack but check the description to be sure.

Drive Safely! We recommend the fitting of a failsafe device, product 5299008, to prevent these high powered cars running away if radio signal is lost, or receiver batteries run low. A small price to pay for peace of mind.

Controlled by an HPI TX-2 2 channel radio control unit and powered by a high performance T-15 engine, the Rush Evo tops out at about 40mph (66kph). Thats quick! Included is a complete set of ball bearings, long stroke oil filled shocks, heavy duty 2.5mm 6061S Aluminium Chassis, dual chamber tuned exhaust pipe and aluminium header. Requires Glowstart.

Preassembled on a strong 2.5mm thick black anodized 6061 aluminium chassis, the RTR Nitro Rush Evo also features a redesigned transmission case and all-new engine brace to improve chassis rigidity. Our HPI TX-2 radio, receiver and servos provide a reliable and trustworthy electronics package. The heart of the new and improved RTR Nitro Rush Evo is the brand new T-15 engine, providing more mid-range power and top end speed! A tall cast aluminium heatsink head on the T-15 keeps it cool and running smoothly, and the 2-needle carb allows owners to tune the engine precisely for their conditions. The T-15 uses true ABC construction for extra durability, and breathes through a large pre-oiled air filter and our aluminium header/composite tuned pipe combo - a great way to get tons of power to the ground!
