All nitro powered engines require a suitable fuel to run on, and with the Model Technics range we have it covered. For 1/10 scale radio controlled cars and buggys we generally recommend Quickfire 16% fuels, or Big Bang 20% for those who want that extra bit of power. When operating the larger monster trucks, such as the Savage from HPI or the Traxxas T-Maxx we would usually suggest Big Bang 25%, or 30% to racers. Because model aircraft engines require a lot less cooling 5% or 10% nitro fuel is the norm. If in doubt consult the user manual for your specific model. We also supply a great range of glow plugs from Technics, as well as O.S. Traxxas, and Enya. Make sure that the air filter is dampened regularly with a good air filter oil, to help catch bits of grit and dust that could otherwise damage the engine, and it is also important to use an after run oil at the end of a days running, as this will inhibit corrosion, and keep the engine in tip-top condition between runs.
