Tamiya have over 30 years of design experience in the radio controlled car market. Their tried and tested style of diagramatic instruction booklet, backed up by scale drawings and written text give an excellent starting point in radio controlled car building. Parts are packed according to the order in which they are used, and electrical components are designed as plug n' play. No Soldering required. Most projects take approximately 4-5 hours, and are absorbing and educational.

All kits come excluding the Radio Control set, battery and chargers, so these need to be purchased as an add-on, or if you've already had a car of this type just transfer the radio across. We generally recommend Tamiya Polycarbonate Spray Paints, which give an excellent finish, these can be purchased separately, so as to give a choice of colours.

After a full model change, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X was unveiled to the world in2007. As well as being Mitsubishi's flagship model, the visually impressive Evo. X featured many new outstanding technological aspects which attracted much attention. The newly developed 2 liter 4 cylinder DOHC aluminum block turbo-charged engine provides great weight savings and thumps out 280ps and 43kg/m of torque. Also a first for Japanese cars, the Evo. X features a Twin Clutch SST automated manual transmission which allows a smooth and swift gear change, making driving more enjoyable. The sporty body also features a distinctive front end and a large rear wing.

This is a 1/10 scale R/C assembly model kit of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X.

The polycarbonate body accurately captures the impressive form of the Evo. X.

Side mirrors, rear wing, and metal plated light cases are precisely reproduced.

Shaft driven 4-wheel drive TT-01 Type-E chassis gives this electric R/C car superior control and handling.

Silver 10-spoke wheels and tires with tread pattern are included.

2 white and 2 red 5mm LED lights (Total 4) are included.

The front light case has four 5mm and two 3mm LED Light installation points with the rear having four 5mm and four 3mm installation points.

Comes with LED Light Unit TLU-01 (Item 53909). *It is possible to assemble with the separately available LED Light Control Unit TLU-02 (Item 53937) which allows up to 16pairs of LEDs (total 32 LEDs) to be controlled.

ESC and type 540 motor included.

2-channel R/C system, battery pack & charger are separately required.

For the ultimate finish, paint your Evo. X with PS Evolution Red (Item 89919).
