Tamiya have over 30 years of design experience in the radio controlled car market. Their tried and tested style of diagramatic instruction booklet, backed up by scale drawings and written text give an excellent starting point in radio controlled car building. Parts are packed according to the order in which they are used, and electrical components are designed as plug n' play. No Soldering required. Most projects take approximately 4-5 hours, and are absorbing and educational.

All kits come excluding the Radio Control set, battery and chargers, so these need to be purchased as an add-on, or if you've already had a car of this type just transfer the radio across. We generally recommend Tamiya Polycarbonate Spray Paints, which give an excellent finish, these can be purchased separately, so as to give a choice of colours.

Perfectly rendered 2004 WRC Subaru Impreza body on the high performance TB-02 chassis. Shaft driven 4WD chassis with full ball bearing front and rear differential gearbox. Powered by a Type 540 motor. Front and rear suspension includes C.V.A. Mini Shock dampers mounted with 5mm ball connectors and turnbuckle shafts for easy axle adjustment. Kit includes urethane bumper, motor heat sink, tire inner sponges and medium narrow racing slick tires

The Subaru Impreza went through a lot of changes in the off-season, with major improvements made to areas like the bodyshell, engine, suspension, electronics systems and aerodynamics. Featuring the same aggressively styled front end and unique sectioned rear wing used in the latter half of 2003, the 2004 Impreza made her debut in Mexico in round 3. 2003 world champion Petter Solberg immediately showed what the 2004 model was capable of, leading the race until the last day when he suffered a severe 5-minute penalty. Currently sitting in second place in the drivers championship, Solberg and the 4-cylinder, 16 valve, turbocharged Impreza have dominated the gravel tracks in 2004, with impressive victories in New Zealand, Greece, Japan and Great Britain.
