Following the recent successful launch of the DB01 chassis buggy Durga, our designers are now preparing the 2nd release, Baldre (pronounced as "Baldr" or "Baldur" as in the diety in Norse mythology). While the body parts set (ITEM 51338) was previously introduced, we now officially announce the complete assembly kit. With fully-enclosed twin belt drivetrain and other innovations developed from the race-proven TRF501X, this buggy puts TRF racing features in the hands of everyday racers.

After release, Tamiya's TRF501X proved very competitive with many competition successes, including winning the European Championships in Finland. Tamiya presents its latest radio-controlled monster truck: the Twin Detonator. The chassis adopts a sturdy gear-train mechanism, and firmly holds the gearboxes on both sides with a semi-monocoque frame. This arrangement guarantees stability on even the toughest of terrain, and allows easy access and maintenance of gearbox without disassembly. With the battery located in the middle of the chassis, and a motor at both the front and rear, the chassis is perfectly balanced for rough riding. Mechanical 3-speed controller and two Type 540 motors included.

The Ford Bronco is a famous American 4X4 off-road vehicle. This 1970's model was among the first series called "Early Bronco" which were produced during 1965-1977. Three types of bodies were released; the fully-open "Roadster," the single cabin pick-up "Utility," and the "Wagon" which had a resin roof. The body featured triangular protrusions on both sides on the curved front hood which worked well as a guide for drivers to accurately measure the body size while driving. The front suspension features coil springs combined with the rigid axle, which was a first for mass-produced 4X4 vehicles and works well both on-road and off-road. The Bronco is still greatly popular around the world, particularly in America, where many are used as cross-country and rock crawling vehicles.
