In 1976, Tamiya entered the RC market with their first RC model, the Porsche 934?Turbo RSR Now, having just passed the 30th Anniversary of the first Tamiya RC model, they are sold in markets both within the country and worldwide. Cultivating skill by all the RC cars they had made until now, they decided to revive the experience in a limited release of models to commemorate their 30 years in the RC business. |

All kits come excluding the Radio Control set, battery and chargers, so these need to be purchased as an add-on, or if you've already had a car of this type just transfer the radio across. We generally recommend Tamiya Polycarbonate Spray Paints, which give an excellent finish, these can be purchased separately, so as to give a choice of colours. | Tamiya 1/10 Buggy Champ Rough Rider 2009 RC Electric Car Kit (58441) Finally the rumours have been bourne out! Tamiya have admitted to the fact that there are plans to re-introduce?the classic Rough Rider from they're early days in Radio Control. The original chassis included all metal front end, and water-proof radio casing, and?although the kit is slightly reworked, these features remain. The?Rough Rider?blazed a trail back in the 70's, and it's fair to say that virtually every modern day racer takes something from that innovative design. Step back in time with this retro model.
