A failsafe device is highly recommended for electric powered radio controlled models, an absolute must for fuel powered models! The failsafe device is designed to plug directly into the throttle socket of the receiver, and to have the throttle servo connected in-line. If for any reason the signal becomes weak, or the batteries start to run low, the failsafe device will automatically cut the throttle on the model. This saves the model from running away, and doing damage to itself, or people around it.
