In 1976, Tamiya entered the RC market with their first RC model, the Porsche 934?Turbo RSR Now, having just passed the 30th Anniversary of the first Tamiya RC model, they are sold in markets both within the country and worldwide. Cultivating skill by all the RC cars they had made until now, they decided to revive the experience in a limited release of models to commemorate their 30 years in the RC business. |

All kits come excluding the Radio Control set, battery and chargers, so these need to be purchased as an add-on, or if you've already had a car of this type just transfer the radio across. Entering military service in 1983, the American Motors Hummer is synonymous with the power and mobility of today's U.S. Armed Forces. Offically designed the HMMWV (High Mobility, Multipurpose, wheeled Vehicle), its amazing versitilty allows it to perform a wide range of tasks, from basic troop carrier to a heavily armed TOW missle transport. Tamiya's R/C Model of the Hummer uses a proven shaft-driven full time 4WD system. Bathtube type frame/chassis is moulded of tough engineering plastic. Four wheel drive double wishbone suspension is combined with four large capacity oil filled shock units, providing earth hugging performance during rough terrain running. The true-to-scale body shell is injected molded of high impact resin and mounted on large diameter semi-peunamic lug pattern tyres.
