Pull and electric starters have revolutionised petrol and nitro powered model cars, trucks and buggies. With starting much easier, nitro is the preferred power for high performance models, the better torque and brilliant acceleration is a real `blast'. More maintenance is necessary than with electric powered models and so nitro is only suitable for ages mid/late teens and up. Read the Antics help sheet before starting.

Most nitro engines employ a glow plug, which must be heated with a battery powered `glow start', to make starting easy. Many of our deals include the starting pack but check the description to be sure.

Drive Safely! We recommend the fitting of a failsafe device, product 5299008, to prevent these high powered cars running away if radio signal is lost, or receiver batteries run low. A small price to pay for peace of mind.

Completely awesome truck from Tamiya for the ultimate in fun. Supplied pre-built with high torque radio and electric engine starter. The most significant development is Tamiya's FRAT transmission allowing forward and reverse drive. Requires 7.2volt nicad for engine starter, fuel (Duraglow 25 recommended) 12 AA batteries.

High power 3cc .18 engine equipped with large heat sink and cooling fan. Idle needle provides smooth accaeration from low speed to top speed.

Aluminium hub combined with double disc brake dissipates heat and provides sharp braking performance. High Torque (9kg/cm) type large size steering servo steers 144mm large diameter tyres for responsive handling. Glow engine can be easily started with the electric starter (included). Requires 7.2v battery (not included). Wheel & trigger type 2ch radio included. Right/left turn and forward/reverse spedd can be easily controlled. Spare parts such as universal joints, screws, nuts and more are included, as is a gift pack comprising plug wrench, ceramic grease, air cleaner oil, liquid thread lock and other useful items.
