TamTech-Gear is Tamiya’s exciting new generation of R/C car; compact-sized off-road buggies. The first release is based on the classic Frog racer, which was one of Tamiya’s most popular buggy designs during the heydays of the off-road R/C hobby. Completely new design features factory-assembled 2WD chassis combined with colorfully-styled machines intended to attract new users into the R/C racing hobby.

Approximately 10" long, these machines are very authentic, featuring such fine touches as rear wings and decals for accurate markings. Inside, high-tech engineering produces exceptionally realistic performance with forward and reverse two-wheel drive, fully proportional steering, sophisticated suspension action and more.

The result is keen racing in confined spaces.

Fully assembled and wheel type RC included, as is a diff-lock plate and wheel wrench. Is this the ultimate palm top off roader? The Overland chassis is designed to maximise off road performance, combining independent shock absorbers with A-arm suspension and parallel rods for outstanding rough road action. There's even a diff lock function to aid steep hill climbs. Body shells are of hard styrene plastic construction and are supplied pre-finished and painted from the factory with excellent detail. Scale wheels appropriate to the model and high grip tyres complete the package.

Palm sized and powerful, fitted with a 130-class motor which provides high speed and acceleration, adjustable gearing, high grip rubber treaded tyres give excellent traction on any racing surface, diff lock plate to adjust drive system for hill climbs & rough ground. High frequency FET receiver which allows precise control of speed via the electronic speed control, and forward and reverse. Micro steering servo. Chassis length 136-151mm depending on vehicle, width 70mm, minimum turn radius 250mm, pre-painted body shell. Different frequenies allow up to six different cars to race each other. Run time of approx one hour on 4 x AAA batteries (not included). Transmitter requires 8 x AA. Use alkaline or rechargable batteries (available on site).
