Offically designed the HMMWV (High Mobility, Multipurpose, wheeled Vehicle), its amazing versitilty allows it to perform a wide range of tasks, from basic troop carrier to a heavily armed TOW missle transport. Tamiya's R/C Model of the Hummer uses a proven shaft-driven full time 4WD system. Bathtube type frame/chassis is moulded of tough engineering plastic. Four wheel drive double wishbone suspension is combined with four large capacity oil filled shock units, providing earth hugging performance during rough terrain running. The true-to-scale body shell is injected molded of high impact resin and mounted on large diameter semi-peunamic lug pattern tyres.
